Triceps stretching to Warm Up or Cool Down

In this exercise the triceps are gently stretched to improve flexibility. This is especially important where the arms are used in dynamic sporting activities. These might include football, rugby, baseball and cricket. Stretching the triceps will reduce the risk of pulled muscles and damage due to explosive movement.

Be careful not to overdo this one, and keep the stretching pressure gentle and steady. Tricep strain can be debilitating, and a little time spent stretching them during warm up or cool down phase of exercise will be well spent.
